Annoying People

I really get annoyed when people suddenly stop liking a band simply because they've become mainstream. "Omg.. they're stealing my band! They're crap now." Fuck off. Just because bands such as Green Day got more mainstream success and became "popular" doesn't make their music any different (well, not normally anyway). Green Day are an absolute gem of a band, with music to be admire by anybody. In most cases, when a band does go mainstream it is because their music has been taken to a new level, and made even better than before, so stop moaning and go listen to them again. They're still the same people, with the same aspirations and music.

Ya know what also grinds my gears? Scene kids. Skinny jean wearing, Foals listening, NME reading, Topman shopping, Mighty Boosh watching, attention seeking faggots. I'm not saying that any of these things are bad (except attention seeking), but it's the manner in which they do it that annoys me. They try to be cool by being totally uncool, effectively making them uncool. But of course because they're "indie" they must be original and cool, no? No! The amount of indie kids I see and talk to in Bromley, Blackheath or just at school says to me that their are so many of you, that no you are not original, independent or, for the matter, cool. Most of these people are also just "fad-following-fake-fucks" which also annoys me. Just be yourself asshole.

Other people who annoy me are those who are rich, yet pretend to be poor and try to get people to feel sorry for them. I admit that my family are pretty well off, but we just be ourselves and feel greatful for what we've got. No attention seeking from me thank you sir! fin

  1. The thing is, Greenday completely changed their style. The new album isn't bad, but I definitely prefer their album dookie, which sounded a whole lot more careless and better with a completely different style and sound to their new album. Now I find they're creating a whole lot more pop and love songs.
